Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-15

Draft — not yet finalized. This document is a starting point adapted to this platform's actual behavior (credits, refunds, data handling), not a template pasted in unedited. It still needs the operator's finalized business/registration details filled in and a legal review before this is relied on as a binding agreement.

These Terms govern your use of SEO Analyzer, operated by ITTechLux (see the Legal Notice for the operator's current legal status). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

SEO Analyzer crawls websites you submit, analyzes them (technical audit, competitor research, keyword/content analysis), and generates reports. Some analysis is performed by third-party LLM providers — see the Privacy Policy.

2. Plans, credits, and billing

  • Paid plans (Starter/Pro/Agency) include a monthly report allowance that resets each billing cycle and does not carry over.
  • Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) credits, where purchased separately, do not expire.
  • If a report job fails (crawl error, pipeline failure) the credit spent on it is automatically refunded to your account — you are not charged for a report that didn't complete.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance and can be canceled at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm refund policy for subscription charges themselves, as opposed to per-job credit refunds — e.g. pro-rated refunds, no refunds after N days, etc.]

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Scan, crawl, or analyze any website you do not own or are not otherwise authorized to analyze (the platform includes a general web crawler and a competitor-research scraper — this restriction applies to both).
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, credit limits, or access controls.
  • Use the service to generate or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates a third party's rights.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service (e.g. attempting to overload, scan, or probe the platform's own infrastructure rather than your analysis targets).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the URLs, keywords, and any content you submit. You grant us the right to process that input (including sending it to third-party LLM providers) solely to generate your reports. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled, and how to export or delete it.

5. Third-party integrations

Optional integrations (Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster, CMS publishing, Slack/Teams notifications) connect to services you authorize. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of those third-party services.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." SEO recommendations are generated by automated analysis (including LLM-generated content) and are not guaranteed to improve search rankings or traffic — you are responsible for reviewing and validating any recommendation before acting on it, especially before publishing generated content to your own site.

[PLACEHOLDER: liability limitation clause — e.g. liability capped at fees paid in the preceding 12 months, exclusion of indirect/consequential damages — needs legal review for enforceability under Luxembourg/EU consumer protection law, which may not permit excluding liability for gross negligence or certain statutory rights.]

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Your acceptance (including the version accepted) is recorded at registration.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm venue/jurisdiction clause and whether EU consumer protection rules require offering the customer's own local courts/ODR instead — needs legal review.]

9. Agency/Business customers

If you process your own clients' data through this platform (e.g. running reports on behalf of clients), a Data Processing Agreement is available — see the DPA page.
